Friday, July 28, 2017 – Meet up with your tour hosts at the Newark Liberty International Airport Marriott Hotel for the beginning of the Triple Crown Travel East Coast Swing Baseball Tour. We take a lot of pride in providing fantastic logistical schedules and top of the line hotels for all of our baseball tours. This tour is close to topping the list as we have lined up great hotels with easy access to the airport (Newark), walking distance to ballparks (Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Pittsburgh) and close proximity to historical landmarks (walking distance to the Washington DC National Mall). With short bus rides on tap and lots of free time, you can’t go wrong with the East Coast Swing Baseball Tour! We start off the baseball tour with a game at Yankee Stadium as the Yankees are hosting the Tampa Bay Rays in this AL East battle.
Saturday, July 29, 2017 – On Saturday morning we will head down the New Jersey Turnpike for the short jaunt to Philadelphia. We will head straight to Citizen’s Bank Park for a ballpark tour of this fine facility. Our Phillies Tour Guide will provide loads of interesting information as our group will visit the dugouts, press box, luxury suites, and other private behind the scenes areas not normally open to the public. After the tour, we will have time to check in to our Philadelphia hotel, the Holiday Inn Philadelphia Stadium, located just steps from the ballpark, outside of the Left Field gate. That evening feel free to head on over to the ballpark at any time of your choosing as the Atlanta Braves visit the Phillies.
Sunday, July 30, 2017 – The next stop on the East Coast Swing Baseball Tour brings us to our nation’s capital as the Washington Nationals host the Colorado Rockies. Enjoy the afternoon matinee baseball from your shaded lower level seats. After the game, we head into the city for check-in at our prime hotel, the Courtyard Marriott Washington DC Convention Center, which is located within walking distance of the National Mall. The late afternoon and evening are free for you to explore the city and visit many of the historical monuments and museums that DC has to offer.
Monday, July 31, 2017 – On Monday, we depart Washington DC and make the short journey up the Capital Beltway to Baltimore. We start the day off with a ballpark tour of Oriole Ballpark at Camden Yards. This tour is always a highlight of our baseball vacation packages, as our group will receive a private tour of this gorgeous facility. The Orioles always provide amazing tour guides who are full of baseball knowledge and offer one of the best ballpark tours in MLB. There will be plenty of time for lunch in the Inner Harbor area, before checking in to the Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor at Camden Yards hotel, which is just steps away from the ballpark. Feel free to head on over to the game that night between the Kansas City Royals and the Baltimore Orioles at any time.
Tuesday, August 1, 2017 – Today we make our way to Pittsburgh for the final stop on our East Coast Swing Baseball Tour. There are not many better views from a seat at a ballpark than the one you get at PNC Park. The Pittsburgh skyline and striking yellow color of the Roberto Clemente Bridge provide quite a backdrop that you will be able to experience in person from your lower level seats behind home plate. Our hotel, the Springhill Suites Pittsburgh North Shore is once again within walking distance of the ballpark, providing a relaxing final game where you can travel at your own pace.
Wednesday, August 2, 2017 – Check out of your Pittsburgh hotel the next day with plenty of memories and pictures of your wonderful baseball vacation you shared with Triple Crown Travel Baseball Tours.
