Saturday, August 3, 2024

Our tour begins in Southern California as you meet up with your personal Triple Crown Travel tour hosts at our Downtown San Diego Gaslamp Quarter Hotel. After checking in and meeting up with some of your fellow baseball fans, feel free to walk on over to beautiful Petco Park from our downtown hotel for the game that night as the Padres host the Colorado Rockies.

Sunday, August 4, 2024

We depart lovely San Diego on Sunday morning and make our way directly to Anaheim for an afternoon game at Angel Stadium. The New York Mets are in town to take on the Angels. Enjoy the game and beautiful views from your shaded seats at this classic stadium. After the game we will check into our fine Anaheim hotel, which will be our home for the next two nights. All tour attendees will then be welcome to join us for an opportunity to head over to Downtown Disney, with free time for dinner and exploring the huge entertainment complex next to Disneyland.

Monday, August 5, 2024

Monday will be a day to explore all that Southern California has to offer as we head over to the oceanside town of Huntington Beach. You will have several hours to explore Main Street in this famous beachside retreat known as Surf City USA. Grab some lunch at one of the many restaurants, shop for some new beach gear, take a stroll on the Pier or get some rays on the beach. After the wonderful day at the beach, we will head into Los Angeles for a game at historic Dodger Stadium as the Phillies visit the Dodgers.

Tuesday, August 6, 2024

Tuesday morning we depart from Anaheim and head up the California coastline. Our first stop will be the intimate town of Solvang, CA, modeled after an authentic Danish village. There will be plenty of time for a meal and window shopping before the final leg of our daily trip that takes us to Hearst Castle. That afternoon we will have the opportunity to tour the main halls of Hearst Castle before turning in for the evening at our hotel near the Central Coast.

Wednesday, August 7, 2024

We depart the central coast and make our way to Northern California for some more baseball. An afternoon matinee between the Chicago White Sox and the Oakland Athletics is on our schedule as we take in the game at the Oakland Coliseum. After the game we head over the Oakland Bay Bridge for three nights at our San Francisco Fisherman’s Wharf Hotel. The rest of the evening is yours to explore the city of San Francisco and enjoy a dinner at one of the many fine restaurants in town.

Today is a big day as we will the opportunity to take a private group tour of the amazing Oracle Park. Consistently ranked as one of the best baseball stadiums and fan experiences in the Major Leagues, the tour will surely be a highlight of your vacation. We will visit the dugouts, press box, and a luxury suite of this beautiful gem of a ballpark. There will be many opportunities for fantastic pictures of both the ballpark and the amazing sightlines of San Francisco Bay, McCovey Cove, and the Oakland Bay Bridge. After the ballpark tour, enjoy more free time in San Francisco for lunch, shopping, and sightseeing, before we return to Oracle Park that night as the Giants are hosting the Detroit Tigers.
