Detailed Daily Itinerary

Saturday, August 8, 2020 – When planning all of our 2020 baseball tours offered by Triple Crown Travel, we take great pride in providing for an unforgettable vacation experience.  This tour is no exception as it starts out in Philadelphia, with the San Francisco Giants in town to take on the Phillies.  Meet up with your Triple Crown Travel tour hosts at the Philadelphia Airport Marriott hotel before we make our way over to Citizen’s Bank Park for the game that night!

Sunday, August 9, 2020 – Our baseball road trip continues, as we head up to New York City for an afternoon match-up as the Oakland Athletics are in town to take on the Yankees.  Our shaded prime seats will give us a fantastic view of the action at Yankee Stadium.  After the game, we will check in to our prime midtown Manhattan hotel, the Grand Hyatt New York, which will be our home for the next three nights.  Enjoy the New York nightlife – catch a musical on Broadway, indulge yourselves with a fine meal, or relax at your 4 Star Midtown Manhattan hotel, the choice is yours.

Monday, August 10, 2020 – Whenever we get the chance to allow for a full free day in New York City, we love to offer that opportunity to our baseball tour guests.  Monday, August 10 is that day to truly see the city however you like, without any rush on your time and no strict schedule to adhere to.  Our Big Apple baseball tours have always been popular for this reason and we truly hope you enjoy your full free day in this great American city!

Tuesday, August 11, 2020 – Our Big Apple baseball tour continues on Tuesday, August 11 as your prime hotel location once again offers a wonderful base to explore the city.  Take a tour of New York City by boat, visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, take a stroll through Central Park, visit the 9/11 Museum & Memorial, take selfies in Times Square, go to the top of the Empire State Building, the opportunities are endless in this famous city.  In the late afternoon, meet back up at the hotel as we head over to Citi Field with the Atlanta Braves in town to take on the New York Mets.  After the game, we will head back to the Grand Hyatt New York for our final evening in New York City.

Wednesday, August 12, 2020 – After the hustle and bustle of New York City our tour slows down as we travel to upstate New York and the iconic Baseball Hall of Fame.  The Hall is adorned with so much baseball history that after walking through the three floors of memorabilia and baseball knowledge, you will probably already start planning your next vacation to Cooperstown.  Our tour will allow for plenty of time to take in all that Cooperstown has to offer, including the many shops and restaurants in this picturesque village on the banks of Lake Otsego.  After a full day enjoying the sights of the village we will make our way to Albany, NY for a night of rest.

Thursday, August 13, 2020 – Today we head in to Boston for the final stop on our Big Apple Hall of Fame Baseball Tour.  What better way to finish off a baseball tour then with a game at Fenway Park!  The upstart Minnesota Twins are visiting the Red Sox as we will have plenty of time to check out the Fenway neighborhood before this afternoon game.  Enjoy the Fenway atmosphere both inside and outside this famous ballpark. After the game we will check into the fantastic Boston Marriott Copley Place hotel, located right in the middle of the city, within walking distance of numerous restaurants and tourist attractions!

Friday, August 14, 2020 – Before departing from the Boston Marriott Copley Place hotel, make sure to gather everyone’s contact info to swap photographs and stories, in addition to coordinating schedules for the planning of next year’s tour with Triple Crown Travel Baseball Tours.
