Friday, July 26, 2013 – We start off our Triple Crown Travel Hall of Fame Weekend Tour in our nation’s capital as we will meet up at the Courtyard Marriott Washington DC Convention Center hotel. Located conveniently downtown just east of the White House, you are just minutes from all of the major Washington DC attractions. That evening we will head out to Nationals Park to watch the New York Mets visit the Washington Nationals. This beautiful stadium has views of both the Potomac River to the South and the Capitol Building to the North. The sightlines are amazing, as you will experience first-hand from your seats on the Field Level in Section 133 for this Friday night battle. This will be an interesting match-up as the Nationals look to build upon their first taste of playoff experience and the Mets continue their push to return to the postseason.
Saturday, July 27, 2013 – This is a special day as we will visit the ballpark that changed the way baseball stadiums were built. It is hard to believe that Camden Yards just celebrated their 20 year anniversary, yet it is still a sight to behold. Built along the Inner Harbor shores of Baltimore, this stadium truly re-energized and revitalized the downtown Baltimore area. The Inner Harbor waterfront is now home to an array of new hotels, restaurants, and entertainment options. We will have time to check out the whole Camden Yards area before watching the Orioles take on the Boston Red Sox from your lower level Field Seats located in Section 60. After what surely will be a great game, we will return to the comforts of our Springhill Suites Marriott Inner Harbor hotel that is within easy walking distance of Camden Yards.
Sunday, July 28, 2013 – On Sunday, we will make our way up to the Big Apple to catch the Tampa Bay Rays play the New York Yankees in this AL East matchup. Yankee Stadium is an imposing venue for any visiting team and this should be another great baseball matchup between two teams who have both been in playoff contention the past several years. Once this afternoon game has been viewed from your Field Level 131 seats, we will head towards Cooperstown as we prepare for our next day’s visit to the hallowed Baseball Hall of Fame.
Monday, July 29, 2013 – After an included hotel breakfast, we continue our tour through the rolling green hills of beautiful upstate New York to Cooperstown. We will arrive in plenty of time to take advantage of the numerous exhibits and three floors of baseball history. Take a mid-day break and grab a bite to eat at one of the many local restaurants in this picturesque village set on the banks of Otsego Lake. Return to the Hall of Fame that afternoon before we head back to our comfortable Marriott hotel for the evening.
Tuesday, July 30, 2013 – We cap off this amazing tour with a game at historic Fenway Park. The Seattle Mariners are in town to visit the Boston Red Sox in this American League matchup. We will arrive early in order to take advantage of many of the numerous culinary options just outside the ballpark, before we enter this historic stadium that is truly not like any other. Your seats for this evening are in Right Field Box 1 which puts us right on top of all the action. After the game we will return to the comforts of our Boston Marriott hotel.
Wednesday, July 31, 2013 – Our tour concludes on Wednesday morning with four more stadiums checked off of your list. Mixed in with a visit to the Baseball Hall of Fame, your baseball travel bucket list just got a lot shorter.
