Detailed Itinerary

Wednesday, August 14, 2013 – –All of the tours offered by Triple Crown Travel are created with the utmost care and desire to make an unforgettable baseball vacation experience, but this tour truly highlights many of the passions that we all share for the game of baseball. Not only does this baseball tour visit Yankee Stadium and Fenway Park; we will also travel to the Baseball Hall of Fame and catch a few games of the Little League World Series. This is truly one tour not to be missed. We start off in New York City as the Los Angeles Angels travel from the West Coast to play the Yankees. The Angels always play the Yankees tough and this game should not be any different between two perennial American League contenders.

Thursday, August 15, 2013 – We head out to South Williamsport, PA as the Little League World Series round robin play will be in full swing. We will arrive in plenty of time to catch action at both stadiums highlighting the best 11 and 12 year old baseball players from both the United States and around the world. Stroll between both Howard J. Lamade and Volunteer Stadiums as games will be played all day long. Take time to visit the newly renovated Little League Museum or cheer on your favorite team as we watch the kids play truly for the love of the game.

Friday, August 16, 2013 – After a memorable day of Little League Baseball we head to the iconic Baseball Hall of Fame to view exhibits and artifacts of past baseball glory. The Hall is adorned with so much baseball history that after walking through the three floors of memorabilia and baseball knowledge, you will probably already start planning your next vacation to Cooperstown. Our tour will allow for plenty of time to take in all that Cooperstown has to offer.

Saturday, August 17, 2013 – On this day, we head east to Boston for the final stop on this incredible baseball tour. After checking in to our Boston hotel, we will have time to explore the city by riding on a world famous duck tour. These World War II replica amphibious vehicles allow for travel on both land and sea in the Charles River. These are the same vehicles that the Boston Red Sox toured the city in after winning the World Series in 2004. It is also a perfect way to get an up close look at an array of historical spots within the city. Your evening is then free to enjoy the Boston area as you see fit.

Sunday, August 18, 2013 – Sunday, August 18, 2013 – On Sunday, we will make our way to Fenway Park to experience first-hand the heated rivalry between the Yankees and Red Sox. This will truly be a great way to cap off this amazing tour with another wonderful story to share with your friends and family. There are few sporting event atmospheres that can compare with this matchup taking place late in the season with likely playoff implications. After the game, return to your Boston hotel to enjoy your final evening on this Triple Crown Travel baseball vacation.

Sunday, August 19, 2013 – Sunday, August 19, 2013 – Before departing from your Boston hotel, make sure to gather your new found friends contact info in order to swap photographs and stories, in addition to coordinating schedules for the planning of next year’s tour.
